Our magazine title is inspired by Hedy Lamarr, actress and inventor. During her lifetime, she was more acknowledged for her beauty than her brains. The magazine title is our little homage to her.

► How can I submit to Hedy Magazine and have my work featured?
Unlike other magazines we won’t ask you to send us full articles for consideration. An outline idea of something you would like to write about, illustrate or send pictures of, will do. We will always reply to tell you if we like the idea or not, or if we can add some changes to make it work. Then, once we confirm where it will be published (the next issue or in our blog) you can start working on it. If you want to collaborate with us but don’t have any particular idea, we always have lists of suggestions for you to choose from. Tell us something about yourself when you write to us, and send us links to your blog, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr or portfolio if you have your work there.

No, but we do our best to promote our collaborators work via our blog and social media.
